Do you replace broken resistance bands?

While the belt itself is covered by a one year wear-and-tear guarantee, we do not replace resistance bands.

A resistance band will break where there is too much tension on the band. Please remember that you do not need very much tension on the resistance band to get the training effect. The belt is not a strength tool, but rather a tool to help enhance the athlete's feel/proprioception for the movement and your hips. Once the slack is out of the resistance band, you have enough tension to "get the brain's attention" and get the training effect.

If you would like to replace the broken band you can click HERE to shop for a replacement.

The Velcro on my belt is wearing thin. Do you replace the Velcro?

If your belt is still under warranty, then yes! Please email support@baseballthinktank.com, and we will get you squared away.

If your belt is past its one year wear-and-tear warranty, click HERE to be redirected to Amazon and see a Velcro strap that we use to refurbish belts. We are not affiliated with Amazon or Velcro. This information is given to help, and does imply an endorsement of this product or these companies.

Even though these have an adhesive backing, you will want to have the old velcro removed and the new ones sewn on. We recommend using an industrial seamster/seamstress. Some organizations have equipment managers that can handle it in-house, or at least would know where in town to go. Otherwise, a shoe repair shop should be able to handle it, or even some tailors can do it too.

I have an older model of the belt with plastic buckles. Do you sell replacement buckles?

We have heard from customers that the buckle at the following link has proven durable and economical. We have no affiliation with Strapworks. The link below is given to help, and does imply an endorsement of this product or company. Click HERE to view.

The buckle in the link above from Strapworks is slightly different from the old clip on your belt, so you will have to replace the whole buckle - male and female ends. When you receive the replacement buckle, you will need to have the female end of the old buckle removed and the female end of the new buckle sewn onto the strap. We recommend using an industrial seamster/seamstress. Some organizations have equipment managers that can handle it in-house, or at least know where in town to go.
